THE SCIENCE BIT
LSI Related Keywords
The keywords and phrases on this page help with Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI).
Using related keywords and phrases helps search engines figure out what your article is about. For example, a page about golf that
mentions steering wheels and brakes is likely to be about Golf cars. If the page mentions greens and umbrellas then it's
far more likely to be about the sport of golf.
Take a look at the LSI themed words listed in the yellow Keywords panel. These words are often very closely related to the keyword of the day.
The keywords are listed in order of relevance, the most relevant being listed first. This list can give you an instant overview of a niche,
and give you ideas for what to base your new website around. For example, when extreme sports was the niche idea of the day, I saw these keywords
listed: skydiving, bungee, windsurfing, paragliding and kiteboarding. Obviously these are topics you MUST write about if you start an
extreme sports site. But I also saw a few interesting other words, like zorbing, China, Japan and canyoning. Clearly I need to research zorbing
and canyoning. And if I was starting a blog about extreme sports then I would check out what crazy stuff the Chinese and Japanese are up to!
LSI Related Keyword Phrases
The orange Key Phrases panel shows LSI key phrases associated with the daily niche idea. The most relevant phrases are
listed first. When extreme sports was the featured niche idea of the day, I saw a whole load of useful phrases listed. Experience days and
experience gift vouchers both featured in the top 10 phrases. Clearly there's a big market for people who want to try out a extreme sport experience.
I also saw a few other interesting phrases, including: the perfect wave, biggest wave, charity events, group activities and extreme sports directory.
I kind of think that if I was starting an extreme sports niche site then I'd sure check to see if ThePerfectWave.net was available as a domain name.
And I'd also see if there were actually any directories of extreme sports, and also if any sites listed charity events or group activities.
Think Beyond the Niche Wordpress Blog!
When you get the idea for a new site, DON'T automatically buy a domain, install WordPress and start blogging.
Some ideas may be better off as a discussion forum, a custom built site (like Niche Idea of the Day) or a wiki.
